ARC OVR Vaccine Factory Wet Services

Delta Built Environment Consultants (Delta BEC) is proud to serve as the Wet Services Engineering Consultant for the Agricultural Research Council’s (ARC) new, state-of-the-art vaccine facility at the Onderstepoort Veterinary Research (OVR) Institute in Pretoria. This advanced facility is designed to meet cGMP, PICS, and Biosafety standards which will streamline vaccine production against Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) and tick-borne illnesses, boosting South Africa’s animal health and welfare efforts.

PIKITUP Landfill Master Plan

Pikitup appointed Delta Built Environment Consultants (Delta BEC) to conduct a feasibility study and develop a master plan for all Pikitup landfill sites. This appointment included a wide range of professional services, such as planning, site inspections, and the development of a scope of work tailored to the project’s needs.

WITS Building Condition Assessments

Delta Built Environment Consultants (Delta BEC) was appointed by the University of the Witwatersrand’s Property and Infrastructure Management Division (WITS PIMD) to conduct structural and building condition assessments on 126 buildings across various WITS campuses through three projects.

Baragwanath Burns Unit

The University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) appointed Delta Built Environment Consultants (Delta BEC) to design and oversee the expansion of the Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital Burns Unit and operating theatre.

WITS Zylstra Sports Complex

The University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) has appointed Delta Built Environment Consultants (Delta BEC) to provide electrical engineering services for the design and construction monitoring of the Wits Brian and Dorothy Zylstra Sports Complex on the Parktown Campus. This is part of our three-year framework agreement, where we support Wits’s broader R500 million capital works program, delivering high-quality, sustainable infrastructure on time and within budget.

CSIR ICC HVAC

The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in Pretoria aims to become energy self-sufficient by reducing overall power consumption and adopting greener technologies. As part of this drive, the CSIR selected Delta Built Environment Consultants (Delta BEC) to design and facilitate the construction of new, high-efficiency HVAC systems for the ICC building—a premier conference venue hosting both national and international executives.
