Delta Built Environment Consultants (Delta BEC) was appointed by Goldwind New Energy South Africa (Pty) Ltd (Goldwind NESA) in June 2024 to provide design and construction supervision services for wind turbine implementation in Bethal, Mpumalanga, as well as a road infrastructure upgrade project at the Port of Richards Bay to receive the blades and turbines from China. 

The appointment encompasses design reviews, roads and civil site supervision as well as contract administration for the construction of roads and hardstands for the Wind Energy Farm (WEF) near Bethal, Mpumalanga.

This appointment also includes the planning, engineering, and oversight required to enhance the operational efficiency of the identified roadway network, ensuring it meets the standards necessary for supporting the logistical demands associated with the arrival of WTG equipment to be transported through the Port of Richards Bay.
