Delta Built Environment Consultants (Delta BEC) was appointed by the City of Tshwane’s Services Infrastructure Department: Water and Sanitation Division to provide professional services for the upgrade of the western outfall sewer pipeline. The project involved upgrading the pipeline section running from Silver Lakes through Nellmapius, which drains to Baviaanspoort, due to increased flow volumes from Zwavelpoort via Silver Lakes.

Delta BEC followed an iterative process as set out by the Engineering Council of South Africa’s (ECSA) Guideline Scope of Services and Tariff of Fees for Persons Registered in terms of the Engineering Profession Act, 2000 (Act No. 46 of 2000) to execute the work successfully.
